Do my visitors need an app?
No. Guide Kit runs in the browser – scanning a QR code is enough.
Can I change the content myself?
Yes, at any time in the Guide Kit Manager. Changes go live immediately. No prior knowledge required.
Does the audio guide work without internet?
Yes, offline if you want it to – ideal for buildings with poor reception or routes without network coverage.
Do I have to produce the audio myself?
No. You can upload your own recordings – or have your texts narrated by realistic AI voices, in several languages if needed.
Is the guide accessible?
Yes, Guide Kit meets the WCAG guidelines for accessible web content. How accessible your finished guide is also depends on your content – we are happy to advise you.
How many languages are possible?
Depending on the plan, up to 5, up to 10 or any number of languages – and you choose which ones. The user interface is already available in a wide range of languages – we add further ones quickly as needed.
Can I use my own domain?
Yes, optionally with the Premium plan: your guide then runs at your own address, e.g. guide.your-museum.com. Without a custom domain, visitors reach it via a Guide Kit address.
What happens to my data?
Hosting in the EU, GDPR compliant, current security standards.
Can I upgrade later?
At any time. Plans can be switched flexibly or extended with additional services.
